The Kohler faucets exceeded our expectations for function and appearance. They are expensive relative to other models, but the value is readily apparent.

As usual with Amazon, the product showed up very quickly. Installation took all of 10 minutes and was simple and straightforward. The faucet is made of heavy brass and has a rich chrome finish that matches my Hansgrohe shower trim perfectly. The included hardware and fittings are high quality and the valve levers are smooth and very solid feeling... no play in the handles like you get with lower quality faucets. Very happy with the purchase.

I had this faucet installed by a plumber. He took one look at it and said, this will take me 2 hours... before he even looked at anything in the box. He said that widespread faucets are always harder to put in. He had no complaints about the contents in the box and did not run into any glitches. I don't have the pressure problems.
The surface of the faucet is very smooth and may explain why scratches were seen so easily. Mine arrived in perfect condition. OF NOTE: it is much darker than it appears in the picture. It is almost BLACK with a beautiful copper rubbed edge. I am still very pleased with it because it is also prettier than the picture.

First I want to say, the beauty of this faucet gets a 5
The packaging of the product would get a 0 if they were available. Please read why:
Amazon has sent us 2 of these faucets. Both times the quality Kohler seal was broken and both times either the faucet handles or the faucet itself were scratched. After the second time of this happening, Amazon apologized and stated they would not be able to replace it for the third time. Apparently this is a continuing problem with these faucets.
I do not blame Amazon for these problems, although sending what might have been previous returns out to customers is bad business practice. The reason I do not place the blame on Amazon is because I feel this is actually Kohler's fault. We have since re-ordered through Home Depot and had the same problem, we are now waiting on our 4th try and hopefully it will arrive without any scratches.
I contacted Kohler and told the customer service rep about the problems we've been experiencing trying to get this faucet and they were wonderful, sending us 2 new "handles." I just hope that when our 4th one arrives tomorrow that if there are scratches, the handles Kohler sent us will be able to save us from returning yet another one and trying for the 5th time.
This is a GORGEOUS faucet and I think will be worth it all in the long run, but be patient and expect to have some problems. I would actually recommend contacting Kohler directly if you have problems and have them send you replacement parts instead of doing like we have and keep sending the whole thing back.
I hope Kohler gets their act together soon and packages these better.
